Hi

I see you have the ability to select which outputs the overlays show on working, but is there any way to enable a choice of which output is shown and program out in the right of the interface, I'm thinking on using the the full screen out to feed on set in vision plasma screens with overlay 1&2 on main output (external and rec) and 3&4 on fullscreen, with the idea being I can have a safe graphic for the plasmas on overlay 3 and start a VT on overlay 4 before cutting to it in the main mix, then come out of the video on the mix before the plasmas etc also use it to do remote interviews with the remote guest on the plasma and still able to cut to them full screen.

the problem is the program shows the full screen and not the rec/ext so i can't see what I'm doing on the main mix when i have anything on the overlay of the fullscreen

cheers

Whenever I go to install vMix over the previous version, I get an error saying that it can't overwrite vMixVideo.ax. The program isn't running, and rebooting doesn't seem to help. Any ideas on what's going on?

Right, that makes sense. It must have loaded the vMix directshow output as a potential webcam, even though it's not using it.

Hi Martin!

Found out that putting W7 to Sleep while vMix 10.0.0.55 with some video inputs active will crash vMix after wake up.
vMix says something about unhandled exception.

Kind regards,
J. Tervo

I think you've got to be reasonable. To ask for as complicated software as vMix, which uses a lot of 3rd party software (drivers, codecs) to be stable and work after sleep/hibernation is not realistic.

Agreed,

Why are you putting your computer to sleep while vmix is still running away?

I would be interested in seeing the full message just so I know if it is an issue external to vMix or not (drivers etc)

Hi Martin.

Is it possible to record audio on the video files in 24 bit stereo ? besides the existing 16 bit ?

most cards like blackmagic intersity pro have 24 bit capability on the audio converters.

Best regards,

PFBM

Is the version 10 file made to update the older version 9 or do I need to uninstall version 9 before installing version 10? I think I have installed all other updates without uninstalling the older versions.

Looking through the new layout I notice that some of the settings on the input settings or options screen are cut off and don't allow you to see them all to adjust or set them. My screen resolution is set to 1920x1080. I know it is probably a setting somewhere that I need to change. What are your suggestions. I tried to insert a image to show what it looks like but the insert image only inserts [img][/img]and doesn't give me a option to select a picture.

That is what I am getting when I go to the settings screen.
I am using the Nvidia Quadro 1000M video card and the Lenovo program says I have the latest driver.
I also switched to my Intel HD Graphics 3000 onboard video and it looks the same way.

Hi Greg,

Looks like you might have the scaling in windows set to something other than 100%.
Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Make text and other items larger or smaller
vMix works best in 100%

That said, I will put up a small update shortly that should help in some situations.

Regards,

Martin
