Hello. This is urgent.
I use vMix on my PC and now I want to buy a PC to use the AJA 4K but I am worring if the device can connect over mini D.P cause I don't want to buy a laptop over US$800. Is it possible?

Thanks

@ Adriankey4

Can you elaborate a little bit more?
What AJA 4k device?
Purchase of laptop or PC?
I guess the point is, what exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Its the AJA Io 4K which uses Thunderbolt. I want to buy a laptop with mini DP but I am asking if the thunderbolt connection can work in the mini DP

If you need Thunderbolt, you need Thunderbolt.
DP is not Thunderbolt.

Richard is correct, although you are not the first to be confused;

Thunderbolt would be the 'way to go', not just for the sake of the AJA Io 4K, but also other alternatives and expansion boxes:

Which will permit much more versatility, expandability and 'future proofing' for your laptop...

That is correct. Display port is carried as part of Thunder 1 and 2, however display port is not thunderbolt.
