I need to be able to make a play window in top left hand corner to show my output to need some help

VMix defaults to Preview in the Top Left and Output in the "Top Right". Is there a reason you need an additional windows showing the ouput window?

If your trying to do a PIP (Picture In Picture) but also keep a full size version to switch to then make a virtual copy of input you wish to place in corner.
Then open properties panel of copy and scale down and position the window in desired location.
